Product Description
This PFAS-free waterproof breathable membrane comes with a custom adhesive backing, ready for peel-and-stick assembly onto enclosure vent ports. It simplifies the production process by eliminating the need for separate adhesive application or heat welding. The membrane provides reliable IP67 venting and can be supplied in rolls, sheets, or individual die-cut parts with release liner. Its fluorine-free composition supports environmentally conscious product designs without compromising ease of integration.
Manual assembly of vent patches using liquid adhesives or heat staking is time-consuming and prone to quality variations. Pre-applied adhesive on PFAS-free membrane significantly reduces assembly time and improves consistency. However, the adhesive must maintain bond strength under temperature cycling and resist plasticizer migration from housing materials. Achieving this with a PFAS-free substrate requires careful adhesive selection and process control.
We offer a PFAS-free membrane pre-coated with a high-performance adhesive system specifically formulated for polycarbonate, ABS, and aluminum. The adhesive is applied in a cleanroom to avoid particle contamination. Custom die-cut parts with a tabbed release liner make manual or robotic placement fast and error-proof. The membrane maintains adhesion after 1000 thermal cycles from -40 to 85°C and passes OEM tape tests. This turnkey solution accelerates your transition to PFAS-free venting.

Ideal for enclosure vent ports in LED displays, outdoor CCTV cameras, 5G small cell enclosures, portable medical devices, and industrial handhelds. It is also suitable for retrofitting existing enclosure designs with a PFAS-free vent solution that does not require mold modifications.
The operator removes the release liner and presses the vent patch onto the housing’s flat vent surface. The adhesive forms an instant bond that strengthens over 24 hours. The membrane’s microporous structure then allows free air and vapor passage while blocking liquid. This creates a permanent, maintenance-free venting point that eliminates the need for a separate mechanical plug.
