The alu foil induction vent seal is a specialized breathable liner developed for hair dye and hair color developer bottles. This seal provides a robust, tamper-evident induction bond that prevents leakage of staining dye intermediates and corrosive developer lotions. Hair dye and color developer bottles contain chemically aggressive, oxygen-sensitive, and gas-generating formulations. The color developer is a hydrogen peroxide solution (typically 6-12% or 20-40 volume) that continuously decomposes, releasing oxygen gas. The dye intermediate bottle contains highly staining compounds that are sensitive to oxidation; exposure to air prematurely oxidizes the dyes, weakening the final color result. In a sealed, unvented package, the developer bottle pressurizes over time, risking cap blow-off or product spray when opened—a serious hazard given peroxide's bleaching and irritant properties. The dye bottle, if too permeable, allows oxygen in, degrading color performance before the consumer even mixes the formula.
