Cause

Polypropylene containers filled with agricultural chemicals face severe internal pressure challenges. Diurnal temperature variations can generate vacuum conditions that cause panels to suck in or, conversely, over-pressurization that leads to bottom bulge or joint failure. Many agrochemicals also slowly release gases as they degrade or react with container walls. Standard vented closures without membrane protection allow liquid to leak, posing environmental contamination risks and violating safety regulations. For PP bottles, using a non-PP vent often results in welding incompatibility, leading to crevice leaks and potential product loss.
