This EPTFE IP67 waterproof acoustic vent cover is designed for portable Bluetooth speakers that must deliver room-filling sound despite exposure to pool water, beach sand, and outdoor grime. The vent cover is a pre-shaped, multilayer assembly consisting of an EPTFE film bonded to a black non-woven support, offering a combination of high water resistance and low acoustic loss. It is engineered to cover the speaker driver and passive radiator openings, allowing the speaker to produce strong bass and clear highs even after complete submersion. The EPTFE membrane’s high air permeability (over 40 cfm) ensures that the rapid air movements generated by bass frequencies meet minimal resistance, preventing the “choked” sound common with inferior waterproofing methods. The material is resistant to chlorine, saltwater, alcohol, and common cleaning agents, making it ideal for speakers used in pools, showers, and outdoor adventures.
